The rectangular box decorated with a hoshi bachi helmet with kuwagata and dragon maedate on a red-lacquer ground, designed in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and inlaid silver, interiors and base nashiji, the edges fundame, silver rims
