The rectangular box with rounded corners decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and okibirame on a kinji ground with thatch-roofed cottages and pavilions, a bridge and fishing boats on the shore of a river, the lid opening to reveal two small boxes with a cock, hen and chicks before a gate, brush fence and plum tree with warbler, the interiors and bases of the boxes nashiji
