Designed in gold and silver hiramaki-e against a black ground with an overall design of a blossoming cherry tree, the set comprising a four-tier stacking food container, a small rectangular food tray and two pewter sake bottles set into a rectangular stand, the carrying case pierced on the sides with fan-shaped apertures; box interiors black lacquer; with a gilt-copper loop handle
