Cal. 39, with Quality 1A fully jewelled gilt-finished three quarter plate movement with screwed gold chatons, blued screws, bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, gold lever and escape wheel, swan neck regulator, diamond endstone, repeating on two hammers, glazed dust cover, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gold Louis XV hands, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds, in plain Lucia case, the front centred by applied and raised gold initials, together with Uhrenmuseum Glashütte Certificate and one copy from the registers, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed

This watch was sold on 24 February 1894 to J. Michalski, Berlin. It is listed in Martin Huber's Die Lange Liste, p. 198 and Die Uhren von A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte Sachsen, p. 178.

It is thought that A. Lange & Söhne produced approximately 369 minute repeating watches between 1880 and 1940. The earliest serial number known today is 13407, the last 99919.
