Lot Essay

According to Mr. Reinhard Reichel, Glashütter Uhrenmuseum, the present watch was made in 1897 and sold on 19 November 1897 for the amount of 499 Goldmarks to Klausenberg. He furthermore confirms that the weight of the case was 79.7 gramms and that the watch originally featured gold Louis XV hands.
