A LARGE ATTIC BLACK-FIGURE EYE-CUP

Side A: the bearded naked figure of Poseidon holding a large boulder, the island of Nisyros, on his left shoulder, in combat with two Giants, each wearing crested helmets and armed with shields and spears, one sunk down on his knee, the scene flanked by two large eyes, vine tendrils with grape bunches in the field
Side B: similar scene
Tondo: a naked ithyphallic double flute player, with beard detailed in added purple, a cloak folded over his left shoulder, dotted vine tendrils behind
Black-glazed twin handles, lower body and stemmed foot, the interior black-glazed with reserved tondo, details incised, repaired with some restoration
