A LARGE CELADON FOLIATE-RIMMED DISH, 15TH CENTURY
moulded with fluted petals in the well and carved at the centre of the interior with an hexafoil trellis-pattern panel, the exterior with corresponding flutes, all under a bluish-green glaze pooling in the areas of lowest relief and thinning at the foliate rim -- 17 7/8 in. (45.5 cm.) diam.
