MARK OF MARIA SEMENOVA, MOSCOW, 1899-1908
Of traditional form, with raised stepped prow, enamelled overall with varicoloured stylised scrolling foliage on gilt stippled ground, the lower section of the body with lobed cartouches, beneath a rim set at intervals with garnet, chrysoprase, and banded agate, the stepped hook handle similarly enamelled, the underside engraved with a monogram 'JLH', marked under base and handle; also with French import mark
