A LARGE GILT-METAL-MOUNTED CLOISONNE ENAMEL FACETED VASE AND COVER
LATE 18TH CENTURY
The broad sides finely decorated with herbaceous and tree peony and the narrow sides with chrysanthemums, below further flowers on the sloping shoulders, the faceted corners decorated with blue angular scroll overlaid with gilt-metal mounts cast as cord-tied bi stretched between the beaks of bird heads with bird-form wings applied to the shoulder corners and the tops of the heads of the crouching monster supports, the canted facets of the cover decorated en suite below a lingzhi fungus finial
