A LARGE LONGQUAN CELADON CARVED DISH
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
Heavily potted, the center carved with a central lotus spray below a band of narrow fluted petals in the well and foliate scroll carved on the everted rim, the exterior carved with a band of petals, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone except for an unglazed ring on the base burnt orange in the firing
