Decorated with shaded enamel flowers in green, red, pink and various shades of blue between bands of foliage and flowers, with turquoise enamel bead borders and a band of red and powder blue tongue motifs on a white ground, the gilt interior with a Cyrillic inscription around the inside of the rim which translates as Presented to Count A.P. Shuvalov on 25.12.1898
