A Large White Porcelain Ritual Bowl
Choson period (17th century)
Rising from the notched raised circular foot to a wide mouth cut in four places on the rim with four raised flat flanges set above long, narrow notched flanges applied at four places on the sides, the vessel covered overall with a transparent glaze of high gloss and blue hue; foot rim and recessed base unglazed and encrusted with kiln grit
