The shaped top above a cylinder fallfront with central roundel tableau flanked by trophies emblematic of Music and the Arts and enclosing a red leather-lined writing surface and a series of six parquetry drawers, above five further drawers decorated sans traverse on slender cabriole legs terminating in cast hairy-paw sabots, the reverse of the frieze drawer lining stamped twice 'I F GARREE'
