A LONDON DELFT DATED BLUE AND WHITE WASSAIL BOWL

The interior painted in blue and with manganese trekking with a bird perched on bamboo and flowering camelia issuing from pierced rockwork within a circular cartouche and a border of scrolling foliage and meandering manganese tendrils with pale-green leaves, the exterior with a goose, birds and insects among flowering shrubs and branches, the date 1693. below a blue line, the lower-part with a band of meandering scrolls, on a stepped circular foot with radiating lappets filled with scrolls and flowers, two restored cracks to body and restored chipping and flaking to rim, some minor flaking to rims
