Inlaid overall in première and contre-partie with strapwork and foliate scrolls, the rectangular top with Bérainesque motifs including a dancing putto under a lambrequin, swinging figures and mythical birds, above a recessed frieze drawer and a kneehole cupboard, flanked to each side by three bow-fronted drawers, the sides inlaid with further strapwork and animals, the reverse with conforming brass decoration, on canted square tapering legs joined by waved X-shaped stretchers and terminating in toupie feet, the reverse later inlaid
