Oval box, the cover, sides and base chased with vertical flutes, the lid and base centred by oval reserves of frosted gold within reeded frames chased with trophies of the Arts and Gardening in four-colour gold, surmounted by laurel festoons centred by a mask, the sides divided by four oval reserves of frosted gold chased with trophies of Love and flowers, hung with laurel swags divided by urns, the frosted gold borders on lid and base engraved with a reeded band intertwined with acanthus
