Two consoles dessertes stamped by C.C. Saunier of closely related form with identical ormolu mounts, are illustrated in Jean Nicolay, Maîtres Ebenistes Français au XVIII siècle, p. 428 fig. E, p. 429 fig. D; a slightly larger console-desserte, also by Saunier, with identical mounts, is illustrated in Comte de Salverte les Ebenistes du XVIIIe Siècle, pl. LXIII fig. 2; and another similar console by Saunier is in the collection of the Rijkmuseum.
