The drum case headed by a winged cupid with garland flanked by draped curtains, one end held up by a standing cherub above a couch with sleeping partially draped figure of Venus, white enamel dial with pierced and paste-gem decorated hands signed 'Bauve A PARIS', twin barrels with recoil anchor escapement, silk suspension and countwheel strike to bell, back plate signed 'Bauve A Paris'; with pendulum and winding key
