The cup painted with classical soldiers encamped, confronting a standing crowned figure, the saucer with soldiers and horses engaged in battle, perhaps the battle of Anghiari, below a winged figure, enclosed by an elaborate baroque cartouche of brown scrollwork, below a continuous border of trailing green oak leaves
