Painted with harbour scenes, merchants at discussion on quaysides and figures in a punt before buildings within gilt and purple scroll, foliage, shell and line cartouches flanked by indianische Blumen and insects, the neck with screw attachment and the pierced cover moulded with gilt and purple overlapping leaves and with an artichoke finial, with screw attachment (restoration to screw attachment, footrim and to rim of cover)
