One side white, the other with blue flower sprays, the kings and queens with pierced crowns, the knights as horse's heads, the rooks as turrets, one pawn matched in on the blue side, variation in the painting of the blues flowers suggesting some associated pieces
The king -- 3 in. (7.5 cm.); the pawn --2 in. (5 cm.) high
