CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, IMPRESSED DREHER'S THREE CIRCLE MARK TO FOOTRIM, GILDER'S 6. MARK TO BOTH
The body, scroll handle and gilt spout of octagonal section, the body reserved with two landscape panels, one with huntsmen in a mountainous wooded landscape, the other with a galleon in a harbour with thatched buildings, within shaped quatrefoil gilt band cartouches, the octagonal cover with two similar panels and a gilt knop finial, gilt band borders (cover with chip to rim, finial restuck and with wear to gilding, teapot with minute frit to tip of spout and minute areas of wear)
