A MINA'I POTTERY BOWL of rounded form with vertical rim on short foot, the white interior enamelled in blue, grey, sang-de-boeuf, black, white and pale pink together with small gold-leaf highlights with a central horseman flanked by four sphynx alternating with arabesques, the rim with a band of kufic reserved against a blue ground, a band of zigzags around the rim, the exterior with a cursory band of inscription, circa 1200 (slight restoration)
