Of slightly rounded form on flat foot, the dark brown slip interior painted in white slip with three stylised long-necked birds, each with pronounced arabesque shaped wings, on a ground of dotted and quatrefoil motifs, a band of lobes around the mouth, the exterior plain but for three hatched triangles, the whole covered with a thin light green glaze, repaired clean breaks
8¾in. (22.3cm.) diam.
