GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each with deep, slightly flaring sides, painted on the exterior with a pink butterfly flitting around a flowering vine bearing ripe melons, the skin burst to expose the seeds, and canes of bamboo, the pattern extending over the gilded rim into the interior, the exterior and interior of the covers decorated en suite, and the reign mark repeated inside each circular knop
