Each oval and on stepped conforming foot, with two double scroll handles and with an applied reeded band, later engraved with a coat-of-arms below an earl's coronet, each marked underneath, later faintly engraved with scratchweights '21-1-0' and '20-16'
8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.) wide
41 oz. 2 dwt. (1,278 gr.)
The arms are those of Belasyse with those of Betham in pretence for Thomas, 4th Viscount Fauconberg and later 1st Earl Fauconberg (1699-1774) and his wife Catherine, daughter and heir of John Betham of Rowlington, Warwickshire. (2)
