These stylish female heads are designed in the 'Antique Egyptian' taste popularised by the connoiseur Thomas Hope's Household Furnitur and Interior Decoration, 1807 and adopted by others such as William Bullock d. 1840 of the 'Bronze Figure Manufactory' who opened his celebrated Egyptian Hall and Museum in Picadilly, London in 1812.
