19th century
one decorated with butterflies in flight amongst variously coloured peonies issuing from rockwork with two birds standing upon rockwork below, the other with bats and a crane in flight above a further crane standing amongst lingzhi, pine, bamboo, blossoming prunus and rockwork, all on blue grounds -- 36½in. x 22½in. (92.6cms x 57cms), hardwood frames.
