A PAIR OF HELLENISTIC GOLD AND GARNET PENDANT PYRAMID EARRINGS CIRCA LATE 2ND CENTURY B.C.
Each composed of a rosette disc elaborately decorated with concentric circles of granules, plain and beaded wire, and an outer border of 'sunburst' rays, all surrounding a central cabochon garnet inlay, hung on either side by a loop-in-loop pendant chain terminating in a collared tear-drop amphora, flanking a large central inverted pendant pyramid, hooked ear wires behind
