A PAIR OF JADEITE CARVINGS
Each semi-opaque jadeite carving of bright green, russet and light yellow colour, representing the rebus 'good fortune, prosperity and longevity', finely-carved as a qilin carrying a book or a phoenix under the sun, symbolising 'qilin delivers books, phoenix flies toward the sun', to the carved wooden stand, carvings approximately 11.2 x 4.5 x 3.0 and 9.5 x 5.2 x 3.3 cm
Accompanied by report no. KJ44085 dated 24 August 2009 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected (2)
