A PAIR OF LOUIS XV GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS A LA REINE
CIRCA 1740
Each with cartouche-shaped upholstered back within conforming moulded frame centrally carved with twin flowerheads issuing C-scrolls and foliage, with padded voluted arms, padded seat and cushion covered in green cut-velvet, above a serpentine moulded seat-rail carved with flowerheads and foliage, on cabriole legs headed by a flowerhead, both with "Museo Nacional" printed label, one inscribed "312" and the other "313", one with another printed label inscribed "L'UMIGADO BARTHEL MUEBLES S.C.A. Cap. RAMON FRIERE 3065 T.E. 70-8573, struts replaced on both (2)
