A pair of scrimshaw walrus tusks and a small carved figure**
Anonymous (attributed to Inuet, 20th century)
The larger of the two walrus tusks is engraved with a variety of hunting scenes, including: a polar bear hunt, a whale hunt and a seal hunt. Also depicted are some home life scenes and a celebration with dancing. All in colored inks. The second tusk has been carved to form a cribbage board, and is illustrated with various wild life, including salmon, foxes, rabbits, seals, eels, and other images. The back side is engraved with a map of a coastline. The third piece is a small Inuet figure who looks to be pulling a seal. Mounted on a piece of bone with some remnants of polychrome.
