Each chased with stiff leaves below a band of guilloche decoration and later applied armorial to one side, upon fluted base with reeded borders, covers with flower-head finials

Lot Essay

The arms are those of a Knight (in the highest grade) of the Order of
Charles III (one of the most illustrious Spanish Orders of Chivalry), a Duke, and likely to be an officer of the Spanish Royal Household.
