Of rectangular form, the hinged cover with a classical allegory of Victory and niello interlaced Cyrillic initials GM on gilt stippled ground within stylised niello scroll rim, the base depicting a maiden receiving a basket of fruits on similar ground and within similar niello rim, the borders with peasant scenes on similar ground.
