Circular, matte-finished, with four lion's-mask feet supporting a circular base with parcel-gilt lotus band, a ball applied with sea monster masks and two shell bowls, the gilt circular dish with stamped ivy border, engraved NYGEB to TFBP 1873, marked under base, also with museum accession number
