BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, PERIOD OF NICHOLAS II (1894-1917)
Realistically modelled and painted, a kneeling figure of a woman, wearing a traditional green, red and dark blue dress, a black hat, on a circular naturalistic base, marked under base with green printed factory mark, incised with Russian inscription ‘A Sayan Wom[an]’ and Cyrillic modeller's initials 'IZ' for Ivan Zotov
5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) high
