Realistically modelled and painted as a seated shepherd, wearing a black hat, an unglazed blue coat, striped trousers, and bast shoes, holding a flute, with a lamb at his feet, on a circular naturalistic base moulded with gilt scrolls, marked under base with impressed factory marks and blue underglaze factory mark, also inscribed with numerals ‘N. 2 9’
