Oval, on oval gilt-rimmed foot, the notched gilt rim decorated with stylised gilt blossoms, the body centring two cartouches depicting Italian scenes within a cobalt blue band and gilt scrolling acanthus, flanked by two gilt ram's head handles, the base inscribed 'Vue des Ruines du Temple de Selinunle en Sicile.' and 'Vue des Salines et du Port de Trapani.', marked under base with blue underglaze factory mark
