A Ralph Wood-type group of St. George and the Dragon, the saint mounted, forcing a lance into the mouth of the vanquished dragon, wearing a plumed helmet, cuirass and sash, on a rocky moulded shaped base, enriched in yellow, green, brown, blue and grey glazes (restoration to saint's plume, neck, wrists, ankles and ears of horse, minor chips and firing cracks, replacement wood lance), circa 1785 -- 10¾in. high
