SONG/MING DYNASTY, 13TH-17TH CENTURY
Well-hollowed and raised on three short feet formed by the ears and horn of a large inverted monster mask with upswept mane, with two chilong clambering along the sides of the vessel over a ground of archaistic scroll, and a third climbing over the rim and forming the handle, the stone of caramel-brown tone suffused with areas of opaque inclusions and natural striations
