A RARE JADE, HARDSTONE AND KINGFISHER FEATHER-EMBELLISHED COLLAR
LATE QING DYNASTY
The circular collar comprised of fourteen black silk tabs, all decorated with appliques made from various materials including jade, jadeite, agate, hardstone, amber, coral, and kingfisher feather-embellished silver gilt, all within borders of gold-wrapped thread, each tab suspending tassels of faux-pearl and amethyst, tourmaline or hardstone, the whole backed in pale blue silk
