KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

A polychrome-enameled bowl of very similar size (11.1 cm diam.), decorated with grapes and tree shrews and bearing a Jiajing mark, but dated to the Kangxi period, is in the Percival David Collection in the British Museum, and illustrated by M. Medley in Illustrated Catalogue of Ming Polychrome Wares in the Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art, London, 1978, pl. 152.
