A RARE PAIR OF SMALL QINGBAI CYLINDRICAL TEA CADDIES AND COVERS
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
Each caddy is delicately potted with a flat base rising to gently splayed sides, surmounted by a slightly domed cover. The caddies and covers are applied to the exterior with a clear glaze of a pale greenish-white tone. The interiors and bases are unglazed, revealing the fine and very white body.
