The rectangular upper section with pireced three-quarter gallery above a pair of satin-lined panelled doors with two mahogany-lined drawers below, the lower section with frieze drawer enclosing a fall-front and a fitted interior of eight mahogany-lined drawers, two large pigeon-holes to each side and five smaller pigeon-holes above a large central recess, above two panelled cupboard doors flanked by turned and reeded columns with lotus-leaf terminals and with paw feet, on a plinth base, the reverse with depository label for Harvey Nichols, Bournemouth, inscribed 'Major Frazer', with fragment of trade label beneath, the green baize-lined writing-surface printed 'John Line & Sons', three locks stamped 'J BRAMAH', below a crown '14, PICCADILLY'
