The canted rectangular hinged top inlaid with chequer-banding and centred by a polychrome-painted cartouche, the reverse mounted with a print entitled 'ENTRÉE DES GORGES DE MOLTIERS Ancien Evéchè de Bâle (Canton de Berne)', and enclosing a fitted interior with pin cushion and removable tray, the frieze with conforming chequer-banding, on square tapering downswept legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher, lacking silk-lined basket
