A RHINOCEROS HORN CUP
17TH/18TH CENTURY
Carved around the exterior to resemble a gnarled prunus stump, an undercut flowering branch extending upwards from the base to form the handle, sprouting smaller flowering branches that wrap around one side, the other side with three small birds, the material of dark honey tone with some lighter areas
5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) long

Acquired prior to 1923 and thence by descent.
