The plain hoop oval in section, expanding slightly at the shoulders to the oval bezel, set with a flat carnelian engraved with a winged Cupid riding a gryllos, a whip in his hand, the gryllos a composite bird, its body fronted by a bearded Silenus mask surmounted by a horse's neck and head, a wreath in its mouth, a ram's head at the back of the mask with a sheaf of wheat in its mouth, all supported on cock's legs, a winged caduceus on the groundline to the left
