In the form of a Maltese dog, frontally facing, erect ears and tail curled high over back, details added in dark blue and yellow, pierced at the back, ¾ in. (2 cm.) high; a turquoise faience sow amulet with attachment loop at back, 4th-1st Century B.C.; a light green faience crocodile; a turquoise recumbent lion with details in added red; and a lapis lazuli scaraboid with hawk head, circa 7th-4th Century B.C., 1½ in. (4 cm.) long max. (5)
