Round and deep, decorated on the covers in red and gold takamaki-e, hiramaki-e and hirame with hibiscus on a rust-red lacquer ground within a gold hiramaki-e band; the exterior also designed in gold and black lacquer with hibiscus on a matching red ground; the interior and base roiro nuri; rims silver

With wood box titled Benibana ryokiyo marubako (Round box with red flowers and green leaves), box and silk wrapper signed Bundo and sealed
