A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL SIFTER SPOON
MARK OF ANTIP KUZMICHEV, 1896/1908
The bowl with deep turquoise blue centre, pierced with crescents and drops around a central flower-head, bordered with dark blue and white intersecting 'T' motifs, the shaped stem decorated with a small red heart and drop motif -- 6 in. (15.4 cm.) long; together with another silver and cloisonné enamel spoon, mark of IZ (Cyrillic), 1896/1908, the bowl with shaded enamel flowers centred by a diagonal band with the legend KAVKAZ in Cyrillic letters; and a lemon-tea spoon, mark of Gratchev, workmaster's mark AP (Cyrillic), '88' standard, St. Petersburg, circa 1890, decorated with a palmette in red, green and shades of blue flanked by stylised turquoise stiff leaves and red beads (3)
